New images and videos from Pixar’s upcoming Toy Story 3 are filtering out all over the net, most of which feature some new/vintage toys and characters. See the guy in the image above? No – not the potato-people – the big bug man. I think I owned that toy at some point in my childhood. In fact, I’m pretty sure of it. But I don’t know who/what it is, and I can’t find any mention of him online. Anyone have any ideas????

There are too many similarities for it to be a coincidence. I figure the he-man folks just didn’t want to give them a license. You know, Toy Story becomes a lot more difficult to produce if you set it after Star Wars. Most action figure toys were licensed properties after 1977.
