
Yes, it was clunky. Yes, it had a resolution of 16×16 pixels. But it was the first cart-based handheld video gaming system ever and it ROCKED! I must have played Blockbuster ten thousand times and there was even a licensed Star Trek title! With an innovative control surface that could be reconfigured for each game and a responsive knob controller, this system certainly didn’t suffer from not having a joystick. Now where did I put that Sea Duel cartridge?
